Hello Hello.

So after much much going back in forth, I have decided to go back to Europe.
It is absolutly making me very sad to know that Im leaving all this here, but I feel like its the best decision right now.
Sort of like leaving on a good note. All the peope here… Im gonna miss them alot but it makes me feel so incredibly good to know that I have made some real, genuine. good friends here. And Im gonna miss not getting to explore Melbourne any further.
I guess I can always come back, and I really do plan to one day.
But im also excited about my new adventure. I have been offered a job in Reykjavík that I am really excited about. Its working for a family, where the mainjob is caring for their 8 month old boy. I love workig with children, and even though its what Ive been doing for the past 2 years, this feels like a whole new experience that I will be good at and enjoy even more thanks to previous experience.
The family sounds lovely and just yesterday I recieved an email with pictures of their two boys, which I thought was very welcoming.

So… now im just enjoying my last week here. SO strange to think that I have been here for 4 months and that it is now coming to an end. When i arrived and met all the lovely people and travelled around i thought it would never.

Yesterday me and Becky went to the South Melb. beach and it was a good day. Perfect temperature… i managed to burn my chest quoye badly though so today Ive been feelinh quite bad. Also, it was about 39 degrees today… too hot. Only as now as Im writing this… its 20.18 and 36 degrees. pjuuh.
I did make an effort to sit in the backyard for a while though, I told myself that Im probably gonna miss it when Im in the rain/wind in Iceland :)

So yes. People in Sweden, Ill see you around christmas and you folks in Iceland, Ill see you in january.

moving in day

I’m sitting waiting for the tram, listening to sigur rós – Von and hoping that the feeling I get when I first enter the house will be a good one.

I’m gonna put up all of the polaroids I’ve taken here, to make it feel like home.

Im standing on swanston street waiting for the tram and just next to me are two guitarplaying 10 year old girls who completely made my day. Amazing. I don’t think I’m very easily impressed, but these girls will be famous.
